    Salesforce leads and contacts create lots of opportunity for confusion. Ultimately leads are contacts too is it not?

    Qualification is an attribute of lead / contact. It doesn’t warrant a whole new set of screens and conversion procedure from Lead to Contact.

    Here is their disambiguation page. I think it Leads representation in Salesforce adds to complexity without providing much value.
